127Patrick MaherAR/ VR - It's Not Just for GamingVR headsets and AR programs can be educational, stimulating and fun. VR allows for an easier and safer format to diagnose ADHD, and subsequently provide safe treatment of ADHD symptomology. Research has demonstrated that the use of VR can be beneficial to combating the challenges associated with ADHD. When the VR is coupled with interactive content producing data and analytics, we now hit seven of the eight (evaluation) factors, making this a very significant tool for classroom use. My plan would be to assess current AR/VR usage and to demonstrate and discuss the potential of AR/ VR as an educational tool, especially for ADHD students. I will bring several VR headsets and demonstrate how students, educators, parents can see and experience VR. Note: If you have a VR headset please bring it with you. I will have some, but will appreciate any you may be willing to let others use during the presentations.

139John Zingale#AppBuilder: How to Create Apps Without Any CodingIn this session educators will experience how to build, host, and disseminate mobile apps for their class, along with learning how STUDENTS can create mobile apps. The best part is that there is NO CODING involved. The process hits on all of the ISTE standards such as Computational Thinker, Innovative Designer, and Global Collaborator. This process can be used in any classroom and is an engaging way for students to access the skills and content that teachers want them to learn. The process of digitally sharing a project via a mobile app allows for many different avenues of student-led exploration. This PBL approach facilitates student ownership of learning while engaging and teaching them the technological skills that are necessary for the ever changing world that they will be entering as adults. The session will cover how to create and share an app, along with how to build a project around this for your students.
